Privacy Policy

TodayBar is a macOS app that shows your calendar events and reminders in a floating timeline. It does not require an account and collects no personal data by default. Your schedule stays on your device.

TodayBar reads your calendar events and reminders using Apple's EventKit framework. This data is processed locally on your Mac. It is never transmitted to any server, stored outside your device, or shared with third parties.

You can optionally connect a Google account to sync events from Google Calendar. If you choose to do this:

• TodayBar will request read-only access to your Google Calendar events via OAuth 2.0.
• Your OAuth tokens are stored securely in the macOS Keychain on your device.
• TodayBar makes direct API calls to Google Calendar to fetch your events. No data passes through any TodayBar server.
• Google Calendar connection is entirely optional. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

When Google Calendar is connected, your calendar data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

The TodayBar app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising. No usage data is collected or transmitted from the app.

This website uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics service. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. Only aggregate page view data is collected.

TodayBar does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party, except as described above (Google Calendar API calls when you opt in).
